i hear a lot of talk about working the oppositional muscles - the ones i DON'T usually use when climbing. my question is: what are the names of those muscles?
i got some nice elastic bands and want to come up with a workout at home but i don't know which muscles i should concentrate on. i figure once i know their names i can google some exercises to do.

I hope the above link will help.
Be very careful of the suggestion on the Nicro site.
Dips can be harmful to elbows.
Push ups are good but keep a 90 degree angle
between upper and lower arm.
The picture of Eric doing the shoulder press
is wrong. Again keep a 90 degree angle per above.
The weights should not be lowered past your shoulders.
Reverse wrist curls are good.
Bench press is good but keep that 90 degrees.
Let me know if you want suggestions on training books.
