I had my first mid climb stick clip this Saturday when the light was fading and all motivation for the day was lost and we just wanted to get off the wall. I will say it was expertly executed and I even remembered to send tape up with the stick and quickdraw

impossible to expertly stick clip up a rout if tape was involved
How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared
