infinite possibilities + finite time = an always already limited set of hypothesis. further, knowledge itself is a commodity and thus its production is inextricably caught up in an array of socio-political relations.

science is a mediation, not an objective lens through which the really real appears. good scholars know this... everyone else is deluded.

Don't be hatin on diesel - it is far more efficient that gas - and with modern emmissions controls it is cleaner burning as well.

And for those of you who will not listen to reason - global warming as pitched by leftists like Al Gore is a complete fraud. The hackers who got these emails showed what anyone objective already knew - that "climate science" is more about politics than science.

The radical environmental groups have been yelling fire about everything imaginable for decades. Thier goal is socialism and centralized power (not in the hands of the people). Anyone actually consider what this ridiculous tax on energy would do to us? Australia, India, China, etc - why do you think they rejected it?

Recent evidence points to a rapid onset of the last ice age. Some scientists now think it happened in a matter of months and we are close to having another one if they are indeed cyclic.

A little bit warmer, a little bit cooler. A little bit more ice, a little bit less. Gulf stream, no gulf stream. Polar bears, no polar bears. No worries. For the planet. "the planet is fine, it's the people that are fucked."

Hey Caribe, What is the Stoichiometry of a, say one and half Kentucky Unit (350 lb) fat ass. That is to say, lean body weight of 160 lbs, with 190 lbs of adipose tissue. How much gaseous carbon is locked up in one of these self identifying carbon sinks?
