Hey Fucksticks!

No, not you, esteemed readers. I mean the ones at East Anglia. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgPUpIBWGp8
Ain't it funny. We go to Jon Stewart for some of the most important news of the day, news that's apparently unfit to print for the New York Times. And Stewart goes to that "not really a news organization" network for his info. Strange days indeed.

its funny several years back I had a friend who was telling me of funding cuts for any group to produce proglobal warming data. I wonder what the did to the rigor and quality of research being done back then.
And, if those scientists were caught on tape, release the entire transcript cus some of those quotes don't make much sense. They very well could be hacks trying to do what they think is a good thing by falsifying their reports, or the entire thing could be taken out of context and we will not know what they were really talking about. Either way, there are 20 other researchers on both sides that do have evidence to support their cause.
Haven't people figured out that the news is not really true, they are people trying to get by in life just like us and MUST create stories, therefore they can not always be entirely factual. I consider news to be based on a true story, just like the passion.

That might be the most sophisticated dose of news I have seen in a long time. I suppose it would make sense that the research labs that are closest and have a voice to the politicians would be the most corrupt as politics has nothing to do with reality.

Seriously though, is climate change something that can really be studied wither way? We cant even predict tomorrows weather, how can we expect to explain why its warmer this year than last year. Of course, covering the earth in concrete and dumping out unbelievable amounts of cabron monoxide has to be changing the earth in some fashion, of course if its bad we won't know til its too late. Maybe I won't have kids so my family doesn't have to deal with it.

Some Tool wrote:I've said it before, I'll say it again- If you really want to save the Earth just kill yourself. Pretty simple actually. Not condoning reckless consumption and waste by any means, but sometimes I feel like I'm choking on a cloud of smug from all these folks who are convinced they're helping out. And word to the above, climbers should be sponsored by Shell and Exxon, not Patagonia.

I like how solar cycles seem to be completely disregarded by the mainstream western "scientists" (if you can even call them that). These guys take climate statistics from the last ice age forward to show that there is an obvious increase in global temperature, discarding the period before it when the Earth went through a warm period, so that they can blame it on C02 of all things and tax us to the grave. Considering on an average day the temperature changes roughly 10 to 20 degrees as soon as night falls, I think it's pretty safe to say the sun is the culprit in our planet's rising climate. I've read somewhere too that there are all sorts of changes happening throughout the solar system. Planets are starting to warm up, develop atmospheres, become more radiant. Apparently it has to do with some unprecedented amount of energy coming from the center of the galaxy. There's some cosmic shit going down. Wish I had some links to some articles.

This isn't to say that we should keep on poisoning the earth. I definitely think we should cut our emissions like crazy. But what's bullshit is that the technology for free energy has been around for quite some time now. Unfortunately, since it can't be metered and we can't be charged for it, it has not been brought to the forefront.

The US has its answer to Global Warming and rising CO2 levels. Our own carbon sink. The rapidly multiplying fat folks out there. Seriously, I wonder how much carbon is locked up in the stored carbon chains in one 300 pounder? Multiply that times 20-30% of the population. There is the solution.
