Went to the Revival Tour stop here in Louisville a month ago to see Chuck Ragan and Tim Barry. Though I was familiar with them before, I haven't been able to stop listening to them since. Outstanding and couldn't come more highly recommended!!!! I think any fan of alt-country and folk will be doing themselves a great injustice if they don't check both of these guys solo work out.

jamey johnson. yeah, its nashville but for all the right reasons. if you like a lap steel then this is the album for you.

Opshop. Some of their stuff sounds a little like early U2, but their from NZ.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
