I would kill and/or maim for a pizza from miguel's. I'd at least make fun of someone mercilessly...

There's always next summer...
Sure is a lot of fun while you're doing it...

I didn't even think about them closing already. I would've made the trip just to have that last piece of pizza for the year. The Ventura's are great, and I agree the Red wouldn't be the same without them!

Wish I had grabbed like half a dozen to put away in the freezer for future consumption this winter......although they probably wouldn't have tasted the same not coming direct from the official ovens.

Ok I admit that I am somewhat clueless about the Miguel's scene, but I thought that they used to stay open Friday-Sunday during the "off" seasons, and there was always a shower token dealer on-site. Is this the case (or was it ever for that matter)? My memory is not so good anymore :(

I understand you can camp under your own responsibility in off season, and toss some money under the door for the privilege. As for showers? Ha! They were few and rare this summer. Look forward to the brand new shower-bathroom-storage-laundry-rumpus room type building to be up and fully functional for.....RRR in spring '10' ??

climbing community thanks for another wonderful season. You can still camp over the winter. We appreciate 2 dollars slid under the door. The New showers will be on a few more weeks for the south african climbers. People like Yasi help us see that we are doing a good job. Thanks again to everyone who enjoys Miguels. see everyone in the spring or climbing this winter.
