Nice work Jeff!

You're right, you're never too old! Maybe we should start the Old Man Spray Lord thread? Seems we're doing all right this year.

Good job Tania and Jeff!

You have to forget what you are just about to say. This must happen fairly often.
You should also laugh at the "going often?" commercials.
I'm sure there are more, but I'm tired.

First timers to the Red, not first time climbers. This way I can say, "oh, it's just up this trail" as we walk to the Zoo.

You should have hair growing out of your ears and a tennis ball on the end of your walking stick. You should always look over or under your glasses but never through them.

I get to finally spray. I sent Malice out at Choco Factory today, opening up perhaps my finest line to date. I easily put in 20 plus burns on this thing, maybe 25 or more. If it ever feels hard for you, I can attest that cool temps bring the friction up.

The best part for me was having rjackson be my belay slave the past two weekends. He had already sent his proj up there, but he gracioulsy offered to go up there with me until I sent. I am glad I did not keep him into 2010 at this crag. thank you russ....

a quick play by play..I sent this thing on my 6th burn of the day, which in itself was extraordinary. I had worn my lucky pants, lucky shirt, and mountain dew by my side for many weeks running, but had hit a brick wall with progression. so like any self respecting superstitious climber, I went back to my old Prana sweat pants, an orange stocking cap I wore delivering papers at 12 years old, took the thermarest to the crag to get an old man's nap mid day, loaded up on MM's and sardines....

(oh yeah, I also have been doing some of that fancy dancy P90X crap for core.....)

anyway, the result was me staring at the jug at the lip and not being pumped. 5 times already I had fallen from this position today...so I squeezed my buttocks tight against my sweaty underoos, and prayed for a bit of luck to take over. it worked.

there ya have it...Malice. FA-Pigsteak
