Kalymnos

Post by schwagpad »

I always thought the Red had the biggest holds you'll ever fall off of. Not true. Kalymnos has steeper, longer, juggier climbs than the red - like climbing the madness cave just on handlebars. Crazy.

stay at the Climbing House, quiet and clean, also rents scooters. www.stefanogerakios@klm.forthnet.gr. dont trust the grades, polished limestone is like greased glass, especially the tufas, and quite a rude awakening after the red. watch the temps there, weather can get very hot and shut down the climbing. eat everywhere. food is good and reasonable. slow down and enjoy.
