I just admitted I'm a gumby, and the proof is that I just got flamed by 3 posers in a row.

Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.

personally - I think that a grade such as 5.11 should be spelled out: FIVE ELEVEN like that. Show some respect ya know?

No really though I don't see myself as a gumby, but if I don't pretend that I am, the Gumby Twinkie Experiment would need a new less cool name.

Speaking of gumbies, so I am climbing with this pretty decent climber at the gym, and I ask him if he lead climbs, and he says "yes all the time". I break out my gear, start climbing, and he short ropes me on every bolt but the first(there was plenty of slack already out to make that clip). After I get down he tells me "ya sorry about that, I have never lead belayed with a Gri before"..

Ya maybe it's time for me to start saying 10s, 11s, and 12s like Saxman taught me. Maybe the reason I won't conform to it is because it was Saxman who preferred I say it like that, and I also don't want to end up like those hippie, grungy, spraylords at the picnic tables at Miguels "dude bra, he's never sent a 12 in his life".

Damnit, you all got me to highjack my own thread again. I might as well just post my topics in the highjacked category since they always end up that way.

yeah because Saxman is such a spray lord himself. and if you're calling him 'grungy' you're even dumber than i though.
