I know it is stupid, but a big sign at the entrance to the parking lot saying no dogs in the parking lot,

The people with the dogs were well aware of the rules. They said so.

I am no bleeding heart for animals. I throw up a little in my mouth when I see people treating animals better than people.

I like my dog more than I like most people so of course I treat her better. She talks a lot less too so I don't have to listen to the spray.

actually, as a two dog owner, I'd say the deficiency is in the dog owner's ability to assimilate with others.
