Climbers That Care and Torrent trail day- Sat Nov 21st

Post by RRO »

Its that time of year again.....

Time to break out the down and the beanies. Time to start eating way too much at the relatives for Thanksgiving. Time to start wondering what gifts your going to buy that will never be used. Time to start road tripping down south for killer practice climbing .

Not a bad way to roll for the majority of us....

But the sad facts are that a lot of the families in the areas do not have time to think about those things. They spend their time focusing on keeping basic clothes on their back , heat on in the house and food on their plates.

This is your chance to give back to the families of the areas that you play in. Please bring non-perishable food items and clothing you do not need anymore. Each year we have been floored by the amount donated and hope to continue that trend this year.

Since we are all going to be there we will also be doing some trail work and climbing at Torrent Saturday. We will also have Torrent open for climbing on Sunday to those that help with the work or bring donations.

Saturday night we will be having the pot luck dinner, camp fire and just hanging out with some good friends.

If you have any questions let me know and I hope we see you there !

Hope to see everyone there. Hanging out with friends and helping our local community. Sounds like a good time to me!

If anyone can't make the day, you can drop your donations off to us at the paintball office for the next few weekends. If it's during the week, just contact us and we'll be sure to work it out.

Thanks for your generosity!

This is the prize for the most donated stuff - you know you want one, and now you have your chance. From wheel of time...

It's not the last, there is still at least on on a route in easy section for nostalgia, but wheel of time was the last (published!) route equipped them. I have a few, and will be doing some stuff with them also, but for this event, it is all about the donations. So, if you would have bid $50.00 - just go spend that at sams club, toss in some old clothes, and try to win!

PS, if the donation is really good, might throw in one of Terry's draws...
