Knee Pads

Post by One-Fall »

Anyone know where I can order a knee pad? I keep digging a hole in my thigh and I am too old to try to tough it out.

I am also ok with it invalidating any sends.
Can't we all just get along?

buy a neoprene pad from a sporting goods store and then paint it with "plasti dip" which you can buy from Lowes (it is the stuff you can dip your pliers handles into for a better grip)

Oh man, he is messing that up. However, he is missing his left leg so that way would probably be harder for him. SCIN, just before spraying some beta for a climber doing a route the WRONG way.

Ditto on this. Don't get a knee pad with a velcro closure though. I used shoe goo to coat mine.

+1

I have also recently discovered that dipping the arms of your squid in this stuff helps keep the rope from sliding around. Super helpful when clipping high first or second bolts. Don't dip the whole squid, just the arms. :)
