Coming of Age
So yeah, my original post assumed the existence of a soul, or higher self, or whatever you want to call it. An infinite consciousness that has incarnated into billions of separate, unique physical bodies with perceptual veils over them in order to have an experience in which it is separate from itself. All this so that we can learn on our own, without being simply shown, to remember our identity as a whole. Then we will all be able to truly harmonize with all of existence.
dhuff you sound like a pretty nice guy, try not to take this message board to seriously. some of us (i will not name any names) will always play the devil's advocate, which is easy to do in a philosophical debate like this. i don't think you are totally out there. i believe in a soul, and i also believe some people can move out of there physical body. astral projection or whatever you want to call it. i hope you can take your beliefs and show the world how it has changed your life, and then maybe you will start to make a difference.
"You never see a positive drug story on the news. They always have the same LSD story. You've all seen it: "Today a young man on acid...thought he could fly...jumped out of a building...what a tragedy!" What a dick. He's an idiot. If he thought he could fly why didn't he take off from the ground first? Check it out? You don't see geese lined up to catch elevators to fly south; they fly from the fucking ground. He's an idiot. He's dead. Good! We lost a moron. Fucking celebrate. There's one less moron in the world.
Wouldn't you like to see a positive LSD story on the news? To hear what it's all about, perhaps? Wouldn't that be interesting? Just for once?
"Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration – that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather."

Take an intro to quantum mechanics or work it out on your own with the help of a textbook or two. So you can talk more responsibly about the subject with respect to the theory on vibrations that you are quoting.dhuff wrote:Caribe: My original post concerned the coming change in the earth's vibrational field and how it is going to basically break down the three dimensional barrier of what we can perceive.
Well I may not know specifically how this works, but it would take months of hardcore studying of the subject matter for me to get a complete understanding. I don't think that's really necessary in order to have a general understanding of what is happening. Have you taken courses in particle physics or quantum mechanics that give you a different idea of how matter behaves?
