I don't think I ever took on any label. Or at least I didn't intend to. I only use the term 'hippie' because of the lack of a better word to describe such people. Sorry for the confusion. People who a large portion of the population would refer to as 'hippies' are some of the most...et cetera, et cetera..

I don't see how bringing up that point contradicted the original post. As well as I can recall I've never referred to myself with any label or tried to categorize or generalize my form of personal expression in any way.

I guess everyone lost interest. That sucks. I thought this was going to turn out to be a cool, compelling, thought-provoking discussion.

i think the problem Chuff is that this is one of those things that freaks people out. to come out and say it causes most to dismiss you as drugged out, crazy, a hippie, whatever. life is actions, good, bad, and other; that is what we are judged on. to feel this and discuss it openly is great, we should discuss all things freely. however, some things cause people to back away, maybe the truth or the truth they find may be to much to handle. maybe their heads will pop. ??? who knows. for all our actions though we can not let the disapproval of others sway us or we have lost and have become even worse than that wich we wish to change.

We are currently headed on a path from a world where humans are confused as to the nature of their existence (and have been for a few thousand years now) to return to the state the world was in before the beginning of this 'Dark Age'. To be more clear, in the coming years, humanity as a whole will recognize itself as infinite consciousness simply manifested into different physical bodies in order to have experiences in a world of duality where we can make choices and learn lessons of wisdom in order to perfect ourselves.
Sorry, Dhuff. I got nothing for you man. I do not think we are at a turning point. Seems a bit narcissistic. To me, this smacks of theologians thinking they have seen the "signs" and they will witness, in their life time, the end or beginning or middle or whatever. Low and behold, that did not happen. Having said that, I am pulling for you Dhuff. I hope you are the one. The one that is right.

I just get frustrated actually seeing the brainwashing doing it's job every day. It's discouraging to see people who so firmly believe that there is no life whatsoever beyond our current physical experience. But I guess it's not their fault, considering this is the knowledge that has been suppressed deliberately for decades, even centuries now by the highest ranking members of various secret societies. Still, it kind of irks me to have people, in their ignorance, lash out with insults instead of actually thinking about what I've been saying and appreciating the fact that I'm here trying to tear down the veil. I don't know how or why I came upon these realizations. Some of it I've read, I've watched various videos, I've meditated, I've had conversations with other people who get it. But I feel obligated to share this information. My attitude toward life has changed in a completely positive way after becoming aware, and I expected it to have the same effect on everyone who read this. Silly me. I just didn't realize how stubborn the ego really is.

Tom Robbins, what a great author. I didn't know you had such good taste in books anticlmber.

dhuff, maybe not all of us feel that we are a wave in the ocean so to speak, or all one. and even if i did believe i was somehow connected to every idiot in the universe, i seriously doubt i would come out with a positive feeling from it. if you want to talk about ego, then why do you feel that everyone should have the same realization that you have had?
