Brilliant Orange at the Gold Goast
Brilliant Orange at the Gold Goast
Has this route been done yet? and if now i was wondering if anyone is working it right now, and/or if it is open yet. Cause I got on it today and could have done it but decided against it because of the Red Tag. If i dont here anything by friday i am going to assume it is open and do it sat. so pleeze speak up if you know anything, cause i dont wanna do someone elses project.
The guidebook says this: http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuid ... hp?id=1073

guess that opens up the question. how long should other climbers stay off a so called project ? i could see staying off of it for years if the person that bolted it was actually working it. but if they bolted it and havent worked on it in years, its open in my book. not that i could send any of the projects we are talking about, just my opinion.
Im sure he has not lost interest. But how long should he expect people to stay off a nice line. Give the route equipper the credit for finding the route, equiping the route and so on. Then after a decent period of time or after the equipper moves on to another project or area let it be open. The equipemt is there, use it. Everyone wants the FA and their name in the guide. Does the line change if someone else does it before you, nope. Its still the same sport line that it was.
Yeah 'cause there really arent' enough routes in the Red to do so we should do everyone's projects. Especially those people who have a newborn infant and are maybe at home with their wife and baby instead of sending that route. Damn. Rob is a selfish ass huh? How could he take all that time and effort bolting this route and then wait to send it because he has a new kid. Fucker. Oh and even more selfish that he won't give up the FA on the route he bolted because people want to do it. Damn. I'm gonna go to his house and kick his ass.
Jesus only knows that she tries too hard. She's only trying to keep the sky from falling.
