Just be glad you got the experience the world that you speak of and know that most will not. Sounds like you should start trying to think in ideas as opposed to words which can slow you down. Do not forget your experience as it can help to shape your future, and try not to dwell too long though cus you will get hungry and still be there.

Trust me, I don't think in words. That's why my posts are ending up so damn long. Words are dead, just symbols--but they're symbols that other people can understand. If I'm just sitting on a mountain cross legged meditating all my life, I'm not doing any good. We have to try to find a way (words) to communicate the discoveries we make. But to describe the world I spoke of before is impossible because of one thing: the illusion of time. In the 4th dimension there is no time. The mind is terribly slow in producing thoughts compared to the instantaneous communication on the higher planes. So anything that I may have experienced during the time on that plane is incommunicable, simply because as soon as one tries to even think about what is happening there the mind slows their consciousness down to a 3d level, where thoughts are just electrical impulses and chemical reactions, and the observer's contact with the higher plane is broken. But nevertheless I still get a nagging feeling that I should be trying to show people what it is that I experienced so that humanity will be able to 'graduate' and we will prove to God/the gods/the creator/the all knowing force/the universal energy that we do not need to experience a terrible ending that consists of humanity being enslaved by a global 'elite' of unfathomably wealthy oligarchs to set up a world of spiritually dead, non-thinking, conformist workers bred to fuel the corporate machine with their mindless paper pushing and their lack of expression of individuality. To a large extent this world already exists. But it's an easy thing to turn around. Just make a stand in your own heart and proclaim your independence for yourself. You are no one's slave. No other human can have any power over you. You are your own person. You do not belong to any corporation, to any CEO or president. You do not belong to the lawmakers of the nation. We are free people, and we don't need to experience such a horrible ending to human existence in order to understand the lesson of transcending the ego (which is what fuels the desire for power) and developing unconditional love and acceptance for everything (and especially every person) that exists; even the negative things. Because, whether we like it or not, they exist and we can learn from them.

pigsteak, are you seriously asking me how I would "categorize" my actions in that circumstance?

I'd focus on what I could control, which is the way I manage my own challenges with the situation and try to assist others that are also challenged by it. I'm no oncologist nor am I a miracle worker.

Look in the far distance, a few miles back from where you stand, you may get a fleeting glimpse of the point.

Oh yeah, Tomdarch, thanks for your concern. Don't worry, though, I'm still with it. It's just that this type of stuff is always on my mind nowadays, and I find it is the most important thing to have discussion about.

Hippies--especially the originals back in the 60's--are probably the most spiritually in-tune people as a whole in modern American history, and there is no argument against that. These people freely express themselves and stand for universal love and peace. How does that warrant saying 'damn hippies' as if that is a negative thing to be? Specifically, how is being a hippie a bad thing?

I'm just mocking Cartman. I'm more of a hippie than anyone here. Except JJ of course. Maybe we need a sarcasm emoticon. it doesn't come across the internets unless you know the poster.
