Seriously though, the SuperCat heaters are awesome. Work well, light, lasts for 3-4 trips on a 1lb propane can.
Which one, exactly? I was looking at the sport cat and the black cat. The black cat was only $10 more but had 3,000 btu's instead of the sport cat's 1500 btu's. Both were freakin heavy, so if I get one I'm going to try to get my girlfriend to carry it.

I mis-spoke. I have the Sport Cat, not the Super Cat. I just made up the Super Cat. It sounded cool though.

I didn't really notice the weight at all. In fact, I kept forgetting to take it out of my pack and was still carrying it around in April.

But yeah, if you can get her to carry it.. all the better.

Is it quiet?

I would never ask this question if I wasn't getting married in 6 days.

I don't know if I would want to take it out for a romantic dinner with the little lady... but you would never hear it at the cliff. It's not an open flame kind of heater.

You were talking about the heater, right?

Yeah, the heater. It may allow me to convince Krista to make it out when it's "cold" (as in, less than 50).
