Lago Linda = bad experience

Post by Raas »

What a rude bitch. She woke us and other people up two mornings in a row, bitching about things out loud while making a ton of noise putting things in and out of her nissan.

First night we camped in reserved spot that had been "reserved for weeks"; cool we'll move. She didn't say sorry about it or thanks for understanding, just "you guys gotta get out of this spot, it's reserved". THEN they put orange cones (with no dates) at the entrance of the site later that afternoon.

Put a sign/paper on the cone or site that says: Reserved 10-15-09 to 10-18-09 or something, it's simple.

When we went in to pay (after camping the first night since we arrived around 1am), she was being super rude to someone on the phone. She acts like she is sick and tired of running the place. If she is... I'd love to give it a shot!

I don't think you'll get much sympathy here, Raas.

Bingo. You've told us more about yourself than you have Lago Linda's.

I've stayed at Linda's a number of times, nothing but a great experience.

Like piggies sig.... Positive Vibes brah...positive vibes.

I do find it hard to believe it was Linda you speak of. She has never seemed to have a mean bone in her body since I have been going there for a while. But people have bad days, I think the proper thing to do is be respectful and overly polite. As we have seen in the past the things we take for granted soon won't be there for us to enjoy.

Are we talking about the same Linda that I know??? She has always gone out of her way to be the most polite and accomodating person I know. I always return to Lago Linda when I visit the Red. Perhaps she was talking on the phone with the nasty person at the ice company that refuses to deliver ice to her...

Super nice lady, she is British and has a sharp way of saying things sometimes, but she has never been anything but friendly to me and my friends, and we stay there almost every weekend.

I saw Linda lose it one day, and I don't believe the people she was bitching at really deserved it. Jekyl and Hyde???? :P
