Question: Where is the closest liquor store to the Red? I am not a big beer drinker, or wine or Zima drinker, and I hate making a 5.5 hour road trip with a half gallon of whiskey in the back of my jeep. Is there anywhere remotely close or convenient that I could stop to get some hard liquor before I get to Slade?

Or as you're you're heading east on 64, take the main exit into Winchester. The one with the theaters on your right and a Shell gas station on the left. Head right off I64, get in left lane to light.
Look left and you will see the liquor store on the corner.
Other than that you can head to the liquor store in Campton and expect to pay the mayor a high price for a bottle. Campton is not on your way either.

I believe that's Van Meter road. There is also a Kroger a little further down on the right that has a liquor store. It's handy if you're picking up food too.Jeff wrote:Or as you're you're heading east on 64, take the main exit into Winchester.
