The word is out. It is no longer impressive to send a Red River 12. Now, you have to flash it or warm up on it to be cool. This person didn't nab either of these achievements so they thought they would at least try to tell us that they were in the know.
I am pretty impressed that this person had the audacity to really go for it. The coveted warmup/flash of a Red River 12. Nice Spray.

There is a formula:blakeleathers wrote:if you still get to the top with 2 hangs its still an onsight correct?
Count the total number of bolts (anchors don't count).
Divide the total number of hangs by total number of bolts. If the resulting number is less than 0.2, you can report it is an "almost-onsight" or "coulda-flash".
So your question is missing the essential information to answer it. Two hangs on Return of Chris Snyder is "almost-onsight", but 2 hangs on Tissue Tiger is an honest hangdog.

So many rules to remember!
I understand what you're saying... and it makes sense... but you've got to consider the context that the word onsight is being used in. for example, on 8a, when someone lists a route as an 'onsight' it means that they sent... you can't 2 hang a route and onsight it at the same time...
