Yosemite October 4-7

Post by pawilkes »

I am heading to San Francisco for my brother's wedding in October and figured it would be something of a sin to not try to climb in the valley. So if you're going to be out there, or know people who will be, and would be willing to climb with me, I'd really appreciate any help. Any tips on where to meet people, where to stay/camp, what to climb would be appreciated as well.

Ouch.

Heard stuff about a boulder in Berkeley, or was it Oakland hills? Also Castle Rock down around the San Jose area. Pinnacles? but that's further away. as for the gay area - check out the Castro district, leather, bondage and leashes right on the sidewalks for your erotic viewing pleasure. . . eek!
The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.
You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president.
You realize that you control your own destiny.
