Alvie is in the ER with a broken jaw and a stitched up chin. He fell walking on to the street, landing chin first and was rushed to the ER at about 11:00 last night and is still there waiting surgery on his jaw.

His jaw is fractured at the joint and is going to be wired shut for four weeks. If you have any good smoothie or liquid food recipes they would be appreciated.

When my jaw was wired shut I got so hungry that I blended a chipotle burrito. It took half an hour, and I had to keep adding salsa juice to thin it out. It was delicious.
