Just wanted to thank everyone for the advice - it definitely helped.

We had a blast in NC. Weather was high's of low 70's every day and got down into the 50's at night. The rock was super dry. Went bouldering at Grandmother, Blowing Rock, Beacon Heights, and Thunder Hill. Grandmother was by far the best. Locals and pretty much everyone bouldering were extremely helpful and friendly.

Black Cat was probably the best food. Mellow Mushroom in BR was great. I will also throw in Speckled Trout in BR if you like seafood. I cannot believe how much food we ate there. And the staff at both Footsloggers locations were also very cool and helpful.

Thanks!

Ben

Glad you had fun. One of my favorite problems ever is at Grandmother Mountain (Throttle).

you can't possibly mean for bouldering? the bouldering in nc is 100 times better than at the nrg. the routes however are far superior at the new.
