seriously, id take them to a good but little used crag with quality routes, The arena has some beginner routes as does oil crack and nobody goes there very often anymore. If you go on the weekend - the oil company guys are off and wont bother you. another possibility is pocket wall or even more remote, the hominy hole. That way you could climb without too much controversy getting started. nothing worse than controversy.
you're right.... i didn't mean to press my ethics on you either.... go ahead and shitstart if you want to.linustgl wrote:So screw everyone else, just pay attention to your ethics on not deficating on the starting holds? i'll climb something else.
And on the third day, God created the Red River Gorge(by conjecture), and he saw that it was good.
Clarification:anticlmber wrote:if its during the week you stand a better chance of missing crowds. if you can lead trad that will help as well. practice wall is decent although i am pretty sure that the weber" don't like large groups as well as there is a "no guiding" clause. even though you aren't getting paid you are still guiding. roadside has a similar rule. so those two are kind of a no-no.
