kinda hard to determine rock quality from the pictures...

hey Andrew! i'll ride out there with you some time if ya want.... i know your homo hangout comment was just a ruse. you are a FA sucking monster so i know you'll show... besides, i've heard you talk well of Muscatatuck and that place blows ass.

the "private property and is a registered historic site!" reference could put the kybosh to it though.

/clap. well obviously.

nobody alive today has technically "found" anything. we're all just (re)locating previously mapped sites and transforming them into climbing areas.

i do find it intriguing, however, that people are rapid-fire quick to shoot down what amounts to an issue of semantics. good job.

"YOU" did it!

I do not post here often, but I will chime in this one. That area is called Salt Shake Rock. Climbing and bouldering have gone on there since the 80s. It is one the few so called pinnacles along with jug rock, pedastal rock, and pompeys pillar. Most of the lines have been done, but it is the chosiest of the soind crags. It is not hard to find,It is right next to the road. I know of at least a dozen climbers that have been to that place. I have a list of all the problems and short routes that been done there. There a few choss piles left I am sure. Go for it , but there is better than that in soind. I have bouldered and climbed at least dozen areas in that area. Heck there are some decent bouldering in western indiana also!but then again I like choss!

well i can't speak for everyone else, but bouldering is one thing that seems to be plentiful here in WNC, unfortunately badass sport climbing is 3 hours away. and i have no problem driving it!
