paying people their wages, plus periodic increases, plus health care etc. is the double edged sword all must fall on thanks to the political deals made with labor unions, teacher unions, federal and state workers- when the income can't cover the output you borrow- its the fix we're in in a nutshell- good thing the voting public and a lack of political will got us into this- combined with Wall Street crooks and a large slice of ignorance the financial sector added to this problem, stockholder greed and political payoffs by lobbyists gauranteed jobs would go to Mexico and then to the orient to cut costs- then to garner more votes it became the welfare and entitlement state- good thing politicians have their pay and benefit increases automatically kick in because it might look bad if they were "seen" voting themselves one or ghastly- being subject to social security instead of a cushy government pension- its no wonder millions are spent to obtain jobs that pay a fraction of that

No list yet, they did make a statement late yesterday about their restructuring plans once they finalized the bankrupcy. It had somthing to do with NOT paying back any of the billions of dollars they recieved in the bailout... Nice huh.

My '05 long wheelbase Rangler Rubicon hasn't had a single issue. With locking differentials front and rear, you can just take your foot off the gas and it will climb most anything at idle. Awesome fun but she is a little thirsty, as in guzzles it.

This is what happens when you rely on the government to 'bail you out'. Chrysler will not be paying back the 6 billion we 'loaned' them. The bail out loan upset the cash/debt ratio, killed the value of the company's bonds, allowed the government to be a major stakeholder and then hand that taxpayer funded stake over to the politically powerful labor union for pennys.

Obama wants the secured bond holders to give up their investments for the common good and alow the union and government to save the company and make the return on their investments.

If you beleive in the government running business, put your retirement fund into chrysler. I wish you good luck.

Buy ford vehicles and stock and you won't be sorry. They have been reorganizing for years. They didn't wait for bankruptcy.

When your company gets in trouble, the government will buy it with freshly printed money.
