No worries - there wasn't a whole lot of good info there. Not that there is a lot of great info out there to begin with, but cnn, fox, msnbc, etc are not great sources.
The problem isn't that a lot of people might die - this strain may be even less deadly then the usual. It is that it can spread very quickly. Imagine if 10% of Lexington/Cinci/c-bus/etc got the flu at basically the same time - the infrastructure could never keep up. Not just medical, but every thing else. From one of the blogs, I got the feeling that they don't really expect it to kill a whole lot of people (though that is still a possibility), but that it could turn into a huge pain in the ass, and that is why they are trying to get somewhat ahead of it.
I wish I would have had the IQ/work ethic to stay in school and be a biology professor sometimes - it is very cool stuff!
