Why? Why? Why? Explain this to me!

We're talking people doing this on huge interstates with at least 3 lanes, sometimes 4, so merging cars can't be the problem--just stay in the center lane then. And the problem with "just letting people go around you" is that there are cars going the same speed as the idiot in the fast lane in all the lanes. The only way to go around would be to use the shoulder of the interstate. Trust me, I've thought of it!

Were they from Ohio?

In Ohio you can make better time in the slow lane.

Pretty sure in Ky you can get a ticket for blocking traffic in the left lane- even if the traffic is exceeding the speed limit. Never seen it happen though (natch). You could make a citizen's arrest...
