The best hammocks I've come across are from Nags Head Hammocks, however the cost is more then I could justify spending on ropes that I'm not climbing on. Really any of the rope hammock and stand combos will do really well as long as you take the hammock in for the winter. Cloth ones fade and get brittle after just a bit of sun and rain. I had one split in half on me. But the combo that I have now is like this one below and has been great.

This is a lousy website, but they make a great hammock:

$90 is reasonable for a hammock + stand. Has anyone ordered from campinggeardepot before? Are they legit?
