like I said Art, just one more reason why we keep cliffs secret in a small group until we are done equipping them. I am currently working on such a case, but now refuse to publicize it until we are done playing there. nothing special, but don't want drama from those who "insist" in their right to set a timeline.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

toy, on your idea of being selfless, I do not believe a person's motives are ever pure
I agree that bolters get something for themselves. But they are also contributing to the community by increasing the opportunities for others. The same can't be said for poachers.

The only real problem I have with red tagging is the potential for abuse. Luckily there are a relatively small number of bolters now and they don't do anything too ridiculous.

But I could easily see a day where you've got a bunch of bolters that start using bolting/tagging as a way of reserving a route for future use.

Say I spot a bunch of cool lines that I either know I'm not strong enough to do, or know I won't be around to do for a while, but I want to make sure that I get the FA, so I bolt them and tag them with the sole intent of working on them 2-5 years down the road. Is that a problem? Maybe not if one guy does it, but what if 10 people do it?

i'm thinking RRO would be a tall order of a case of Sharps. all the flavor yet deceivingly fun.

would that make Ray a 22 of Budwiser (aka king of beers)?
