Matter of Time???
Obama is pushing to lower restrictions on Cuban-Americans traveling to Cuba while maintaining restrictions on non- Cuban-Americans- while inherently unfair but I think we're all aware of obama's lack of cohesive thought processes' it does hold that perhaps one day all americans will be treated equally and non-Cuban-Americans will be free to travel there as well- would you go to sample the limestone tufa pulling in a region that is considerably closer than the now troubled thailand? I hear cuba is also a great place to get cuban food.
woah, crankmas commenting on someone else's cohesive thought processes. now THAT's should shudder the brainwaves.
i've been to cuba. and it IS a great place to get cuban food.

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Opening Cuba to trade will destroy their cigars. They simply don't have the land to produce as many cigars as there will be demand for. Consequently, quality will go to hell, and you'll pay more than twice as much for a bad cigar. The embargo is the best thing to happen to their cigars. That being said, it's really not hard to order real Cubans on the 'net if you know where to go.KD wrote:aaaah the cigars! los montecristos
Aside from that, Cuba is pretty much a shit hole. What tourist wants to see a bunch of 60 year old cars, crumbling buildings, poor people, etc?
Sarcasm is a tool the weak use to avoid confrontation. People with any balls just outright lie.

You misunderstand how supply and demand works. If there is increased demand on a finite supply, quality stays the same and the price goes up. So, save your pennies if you want to buy them.dhoyne wrote:Opening Cuba to trade will destroy their cigars. They simply don't have the land to produce as many cigars as there will be demand for. Hauling a big ego up a route adds at least a full grade.
