Seriously though, be sure and bounce test any anchor anywhere before trusting your life to it.

True...my rhodo test was a really a test of probability and not of the physical holding power of rhododendron.

So did you bounce test the webbing you left for an anchor on your route at small? That thing looked a bit shady so we backed it up for everyone.

I'm sure I did, but I do have some recollection of it seeming a bit shady. I don't remember what the situation was. Was the webbing too short for the boulder? Was the boulder moving around a bunch? Thanks for fixing it.

Nah the boulder was a bit small and sitting on a sandy ledge. I figure it held if you got down off it. It just had a wimpy look to it. I like that wall, there's always something else for me to do. and I can run up GT again. You probably went through there and sent everything by now.
