No dogs atDares wrote:Hello, i know this subject is much debated but i'm having a hard time with searching throught the forums on it. I know that dogs are banned @ Muir, but is there anywhere else that i should be aware of? Can anyone apply for a dog permit through the webers or is it more of a close friend type of deal?
I have a 6 month old lab that i am thinking about bringing with me for Easter weekend. Wanted to get feelings from other dog owners etc. I always keep her leashed mainly for her safety as she is still a puppy and will get into trouble. Anyways had a great time last year in the Red, definatley worth the 11 hour drive.
Thanks,

FYI Crags will be busy this time of year a dog can make your trip challenging espically a pup.
shoot, if you can't control your dog long enough to keep me from kicking it, then it doesn't need to be there. I got a new pair of steel toed boots just for the season.bcombs wrote:You kick my dog, prepare for an ass whoopin.krampus wrote:its about time. How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared
My dog has just as much right to be there as you do! All this crap about additional impact and getting in the way is just that, crap.krampus wrote:shoot, if you can't control your dog long enough to keep me from kicking it, then it doesn't need to be there. Dogs yappin while you are trying to send.... too bad.
Dogs dragging yesterday's lunch back from around the corner at the crag.... too bad.
Piss on your rope? Too bad!
Be careful you hipsters... I taught my dog to bite anyone that smells like patchouli.

I love dogs (I've got an 81 lb yellow lab), but in all seriousness, leave the pup at home or in a doggie hotel. He or she could get hurt (that's why I leave mine at home).
