Weather

Post by SthCrag510 »

As in my previous thread this will be my first time climbing in the red. I'll be there this weekend from friday to tuesday. Im looking at the weather and things are looking kinda gloomy. Do you think it would still be worth coming up. I have heard that weather can be completely different in different parts of the gorge. Also there seems to be some places that are okay if rains. It only looks like it might rain saturday but the percentage doesn't look that high. What do ya'll think?

plenty to do in the rain. you can even climb.

it looks like the weather this weekend will be the best we've seen thus far in '09. come on over, you won't be disapointed.

I thought weather was important not that long ago. Now I know weather is irrelevant. Ask piggy why.

I know why, its cus a bad day of climbing is better than a good day of vidio games

your last post said thursday to wednesday.... don't start cutting it shorter already!! Thursday and friday might be the best weather you'll see. The camping might get wet but the climbing is always awesome!
And on the third day, God created the Red River Gorge(by conjecture), and he saw that it was good.
