Muir....P.M.R.P...?

Post by c_mejean »

I was curious if Muir was still closed from the storm? And Pendergrass, is it accessible? Any other info is appreciated. :)

the PMRP is fine. some trails may have trees you need to climb over but the roads are clear. there was jeep stuck in the creek the last time i was back there so be aware of that.
Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.

Muir is officially closed until our new road in from KY 2016 has been resurfaced. Recent heavy winter rains and freeze/thaw have turned it into a quagmire. The road was built last June, and we had bad drought conditions from then up until a few weeks ago. So the road didn't get a chance to settle in as it would have with normal summer/fall rains.

The weather forecast for Saturday, February 28 is for 100% chance of rain most of the day. Not good for climbing or the road.

We'll open as soon as reasonably possible.
