Phillip Galls has them in.

I like it. Admittedly, I don't have much experience with other devices and have not used it in most of the ways it was designed for.

It's green, though, so that makes it awesome.
Sure is a lot of fun while you're doing it...

this is so silly, it's petzl's version of the ATC guide.

I'd love/hate to be a patent lawyer for BD or Petzl...

What the heck?

I was gonna say looks like a smaller version of the ATC guide. Cool climbing footage...makes me yearn for spring!

It appears that the new reverso releases the second easier than the the BD guide.

At least at the red and other places I've climbed, I've used the Guide and haven't needed to rig anything fancy to release the second. I mean, you could, buy why 1. go through all the hassle and 2. why would you need to lower the second, especially on multi-pitch routes? I'd say if you're multi-pitching, going down isn't an option. And why would you "multi-task" while belaying?

Actually, if you are belaying a second from above, why not just take up a gri-gri w/ u and save you all sorts of trouble? do up a sliding x and be done with it.
