Well, I got no rock prospects here and an ever shortened ice season these days, so I gotta take advantage of what I get. I did consider using my kayak top, but hated to see it get any accidental holes punched in it. Stuck to the gor-tex and it did just fine in a heavy downpour of cold canyon water. Going back on it next weekend after it gets cold again.
