What went wrong with the peace process?

Post by L K Day »

According to noted Palestinian journalist Khaled Abu Toameh, just about everything. The linked article (in which everyone's ox gets gored) is the most startling, and eye opening piece I've seen. Warning! It's long, but worth the read, including the questions and answers at the end. http://www.michaeltotten.com/archives/2 ... y-repo.php Skip the three paragraph introduction and scroll straight down to Toameh's words if you want to save a little time. This is the kind of web-based journalism that's cleaning the clock of the paper and ink dinosaurs.

No, I'm fine, really. But Wes said something about "root causes". Just thought I'd deliver. You won't find Toameh's piece in the New York Times, because it doesn't fit the preferred narrative.

Aren't we climbing the Red just to avoid all these real world discussions and events? Is this site going to have the latest news and political discussions now too?

Hey, if I'm going to talk politics, I'd rather do it with people that I know I have something in common with. At least here, at the end of the day I know we could all sit around a bonfire drinking beer and bs'ing about our projects, sends, whippers and the beautiful and amazing place that is the red.
