Well thanks, I could use the refresher course. Last year at Torrent with Tommy and Emily was a ton of fun, so I hope to be back for next year.

Could you please not schedule this for the same time as the photography clinic?

I wanna be there to see who strangles whom with a cordalette!

Actually Jay, I was thinking an old fashioned Chouinard #11 hexnut on a chunk of 8mm would be more suitable, being a trad' thing of course. I don't think I even heard of the word 'cordalette' until sport climbing with some Frenchies in colorful lycra tights. And schedule the photography clinic to cover our event!

Really?

When have you ever used a cordalette on a sport climb, considering their almost singular use is to equalize anchors of widely varying distances, ie; natural placements?

And Woody, as far as the #11 hex is concerned, don't bring a knife to a gunfight- if you do, Odub just might shove a BigBro up your ass and open it.

Well I guess I equalized anchors with stuff, but never called it a cordalette all these years. I lack French background I guess. Bought one last year and used it when switching out rope through anchors, as I didn't have a daisy chain left in good condition.
As for the Big Bro, well I was looking at much cheaper gear to place within open cavities instead of a costly 'Bro. Always conservation first.
