obed advice

Post by rdo'c »

I was thinking about heading down to Obed this weekend. They received 1.5" of rain on Tuesday and Wedensday. I've never been there so I'm looking for advice on how wet it may be. I'd hate to drive 3 1/2 hours and find a soaked mess.

Thanks

There should be plenty to climb. If it has rained that day or the day before the Lilly Bluff may be wet but most everthing else is probably dry.

Sounds like good winter kayaking time for sure!

We climbed at Tierrany yesterday. It was perfect. The weather should be good there Saturday and Sunday. Tierrany, South Clear, Inner Circle, and North Clear are all good choices for this time of year and this weekend in particular. Make the drive.

if you camp at Del and Marty's you should find someone to give you basic beta to find the crags and its pretty easy to guess the grade range from there- south clear creek before and after Stephen King Library are prime .9-11 range tastiness
