climbing clinics

Post by Josephine »

so we were talking the other night about climbing clinics. in the past clinics were offered and they hopefully filled up. perhaps this year it would be good to have a better idea of what people want in the hope that if those clinics are offered more people will sign up = more $$$ for the RRGCC.

so what would you like? why?

I'd love to take a photography for climbing clinic, to learn some more advanced rigging techniques, and I'd bet someone around here *coughWes* knows a thing or two!

bring on the Rock Jocks. I would be more likely to pay for a clinic by someone "famous".... i know, i'm shallow

I know we all like to fun around on here but please try to think of some meaningful input. Our Rocktoberfest sponsors are lending us their sponsored athletes for free and it is up to us to use them to our best advantage. The more we can do to make sure clinics fill up, the more confident we can be that we will meet our fundraising goals hence the closer we are to paying off the PMRP.

I know that taking a private lesson from Jason & Tiffany Campbell was one of the best investments I ever made to improve my climbing ability. So my suggestion for intermediate and advanced clinics would be to focus on technique.
