I'm just curious where folks with elbow tendonitis are experiencing pain, on the inside of the elbow (Golfer's Elbow) or outside of the elbow (Tennis Elbow). Seems both pop up in climbers.
Does he have a strange bear claw like appendage protruding from his neck? He kep petting it.
Do push ups and dips and don't curl your arms up while you are sleeping. Then, you will have pain free elbows1 I haven't had tendonitis in my elbows for about 8 years now.
Hauling a big ego up a route adds at least a full grade.
Dunno, did lots of dips and bench last summer and had a pretty good case of inside biceps tendinitis. But, then again was also being a dumbass and doing tons of weighted pull ups as well.
"Dying?" Man, that's the last thing I want to do. - overheard
I have both....I found the inside was easier to deal with from a pain aspect and have had it for quite a few years. The outside has been tough, I can't seem to get rid of it.
I was doing a pull up program where I was doing up to 200 pull ups an evening. I was not compensating this with a bunch of push ups. After about 2 months, had a consistant pain on the inside of my elbow.
Stopped doing pull ups until the pain went away and then started back on a lighter schedule but did more pushups. No pain!
