Leash law
Leash law
When you go to a park and you take your dog, take a look around to see if there are any signs specifying leash laws. In Mt Airy Forest in Cincinnati they are everywhere! And when you decide to go hiking on the trails in Mt Airy with your dog, put them on a leash! When the guy running the other direction on the trail has his dog on a leash and has to try and side step you and your dog and hurts his knee and has to possibly take time off from climbing it sucks. Fuckers. Also, yield to the trail runner! It's much easier for your dumpy ass to step aside than it is for the runner to break their cadence and move around you. And don't throw that mocha sissy cup down when you are done with it. Fuckers.
Sort of, but the problem is, I can pull in my leash closer to me and run a few feet off to one side or the other. They could do the same. Without a leash though, it's their dog running up to my dog who then trips me and about kills us all. It's not like I'm coming down the trail at the speed of sound, they have plenty of time to react, pull the leash in and step aside. Or pull the leash in and let me go around. Instead it's just "Don't worry he's friendly". Like I give a fuck if he's friendly. He's friendly, and then he chases me down the trail for the next 1/4 mile while the owner yells "Sparky, get back here, now". Jesus. It's all avoided with some simple precaution.krampus wrote:wouldn't it be easier for the two dogs to get tangled up in each others leashes if they were both on a leash.
Yep, I agree. Keep 'em on a leash in the parks.
I recently was out hiking at a metropark and my dog was on a leash, but an approahing boxer was not. When the guy saw us, he began running towards us to grab his dog, yelling that his dog was friendly. This boxer was HUGE. I wasn't too intimatidated though, because Boxer's are generally friendly, and my dog is the easiest dog to get along with. But as soon as that boxer reached my dog, he attacked. I am a dog lover, but given the chance, I would have kicked that dog and his owner
I was furious.

What's the last thing a redneck says before he dies?
"Hey y'all, watch THIS!"
What's the last thing a dog owner says before your dog gets attacked?
"Don't worry, he's FRIENDLY!"
Someone on this forum once said the truest statement about dogs:
"No one likes your dog as much as you do. No one."

Hauling a big ego up a route adds at least a full grade.
