Great Story Idea! I can see it now three guys set out to climb the easiest stuff in the gorge and all of a sudden trees are falling all around them, cougars and bears box them in and they have to free solo, oh wait a minute, a cougar jumps and grabs one of their legs, but he is an above average novice climber and he free solo huals the cougar up beta spewer. Once on top they kill the cougar and cook it because the other cats and bears can't even climb the 5.4, or find the walk off (because they are just stupid animals), and the climbers didn't pack pb&j sandwiches and didn't plan on being seiged by rabid animals.
The use their shiny new biners to signal passing aircraft and are heli rescued in the end.
