rockclimbing.com takes over....

So I must admit, I ventured over to rockclimbing.com today for the first time in over 4-5 years.....mainly, BC this place has become a lame kiss ass in bred country club...I thought Pigsteak's glory and wit was being taken for granted on here....

anyway, I about puked after 5 minutes. is rc.com really that lame? will anyone on here admit to posting/lurking there regularly? can anyone give me two redeeming qualities about that site?

I honestly don't know which is worse...8a.nu or rc.com..one is a bunch of wannabe's and the other is a bunch of, well, wannabe's....

I used to post some photos (got a couple of "jobs"), and I still check in with the photo gear forum, but otherwise just skim some of the topics. Lots of dumb stuff, with a couple bits of good info mixed in.

Posted up about Ben back in Nov. Check news now and then. Not interested. Anybody ever go to user friendly Yourclimbing.com? It has gone down the tubes over the last year with new, uninvolved owners, and I haven't been able to even get the page to come up for 3 days. Maybe it finally folded. Any inside news on it?

Does "Majid" still post idiot MSPaint pictures of crazy multi pitch survival scenario's on RC? I go there occasionally to laugh. I'm headed over there now, it's gonna be great!

I like all the different pull test threads where they take perfectly good cams and nalgenes and destroy them just so they can say "yep- it would've held".
