Climbing Partner for Saturday Dec. 6

Post by pawilkes »

So i know its going to be cold and cloudy but I need to get out of the house. Anyone want to go climbing Saturday? I'm up for anything really, I just want to get out. I'd be ok with joining up with another group too. If you're coming from or through Lexington we could carpool down. Let me know if you're interested.

38 degrees? I don't think so. Time for indoors; waiting patiently for ice to form up in steep and deep canyons, then it will be tool time.

Hope you made it ok if you came down today. The road between the rest area and torrent was in pretty bad shape, with several accidents.

And here I thought all Red visitors had their trusty 4WD's to evade any road problems. I'm not showing up until the bluebirds are singing next spring.

Yeah, purdy nasty today, 4wds were even sketchy- we were sliding around in a subie and saw a jeep in a ditch.

so does this not bode so well for tomorrow's climbing? we have a fairly large group that wanted to get out, but we were going to go to the northern region. If the roads are that bad we may cancel our trip.
