Partners for the winter.

Post by paclimber »

I just moved from Montana to Lexington for three months. I am looking for some climbing partners for this time period. I have off on weekends and I will be going to the red every chance I get. If anyone is interested please respond or e-mail me at michael.scott.madison@gmail.com. Thanks

Go home.Seriously. Montana is fab'! Maybe not the best quality known rock, but plenty of backcountry, skiing and all those grizzley bears to keep you company. Can't find any of that in Lexington..

Nothing like a gatekeeper who's been registered a whole 20 days longer than the person asking the question.

paclimber, there are plenty of people who get out on the weekends throughout the winter. Watch the "Hooking Up" forum for new posts, you'll find someone soon enough.

Since I have been around a little longer, I will do it.

Dude, go back to Montana. Why would you want to be climbing at the best sport climbing in the world, during the best season of the year.

I am looking to climb pretty much anything. I have led sport up to 12c, trad up to .10 and bouldered up to V8, but I really just like climbing anything. Also I have heard rumors about ice forming in kentucky sometimes and if that is true I would love to get on some of that. I think the ice climbing is the thing I am going to miss the most about Montana. I appreciate the replys from everybody and hopefully I will get a chance to climb with some of you.
Thanks
