I hate to spoil the party here folks. Placement of any fixed anchors in Daniel Boone National Forest requires prior approval of the Forest Service. In addition to bolts, the Forest Service considers any fixed pro, cams, chocks, pitons, webbing, etc. left permanently to be fixed anchors. Additionally, Mariba Fork is located in Clifty Wilderness where no new fixed anchors are allowed. Please find a way to take your pro with you after you climb in Clifty WIlderness.

Ah Maariba Fork! Land of the Lost!

I sent that dihedral thats above the big honking hole that goes down into the cave right when you walk through the passageway. There used to be a big asses tree wedged in the precipice.

I haven't been up there in awhile. The guns and dogs have um keep me away, lol!

I have a question? If Marbia Fork is in Cliffty, why are there two sport routes 30 left of Synergy? I went down there today to check out Synergy and Laceration, tried the Mayor and seen the fixed gear in this new spring line. We also noticed there were two bolted lines about 30 feet left of Synergy? Awsome place going back Sat if anyone wants to follow.

The Forest Service found these two sport routes when scoping the area for LAC and is aware of them. An attempt was made at that time to find the First Ascentionists and have them take them down and make the situation right. The FA's could not be positively identified or located. The RRGCC is not bolt police so nothing further has happened. Nothing is stopping someone who would like to make the effort and recycle the hangers.

I am concerned about your mention of "fixed gear in this new spring line". The FS prohibition on no new routes with fixed anchors in Clifty Wilderness include cams, slings and nuts, in addition to bolts.
