i took this one guy climbing and he was ALL ABOUT IT. he bought a 3-month membership, shoes, harness, chalk bag the 2nd time we were at the gym. (i suggested he wait a bit before spending so much $$$ but he didn't want to). after about 3 weeks i never saw him climbing again.
