Why do you climb at the gym?
do what I do, and just lie on your tick list. anytime I see a route I like from the ground, I merely tick it on my list..by the end of the year I should be ahead of chriss and ray... only number chasers train in the gym...it is much easier to just spray in the online guide without actually trying the lines.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.
Shit man, since you've been workin those sport climbs for so long, shouldn't you be climbing harder via your system? I only train endurance, and I haven't seen a need for more power until I hit 13b.rhunt wrote:YO 512OW, you really are pretty good at being an ass. Its not about what I've read, its about what has worked for me and most of the people I have climb with over the past 15 years. When you were off in search of the next wide crack, I was working routes at the lode/darkside/solar/etc, etc. All we have ever had here in Columbus is a 23 foot tall climbing gym and look how many strong climbers have come out of Columbus. Bouldering only will give you both power and endurance, that's not what I have read its what i have experienced.
If all you've ever had is a 23 foot tall climbing gym, and you've trained so much bouldering, then why would you pretend to know what training only endurance will do for you?
That shit is nearly verbatim from Eric Horsts books... cmon.
